He is survived by: his wife Betty Greene Ruis of Cordele; his daughters, Leann Ruis Lee (Shane) of Tifton and Brandi Ruis Sawyer (Tom) of Greenville, SC; his grandchildren, Alicia Lee, Shelby Lee and Will Sawyer; and his brother Dr. Charles Ruis (Barbara) of Cordele.
