He is survived by: his wife Wanda Oliver Shirah of Cordele; his children, LaGail Lewis of Cordele and Michael LaRoy Shirah of Cordele; his grandchildren, Brittany Smith (Jebb) of Pineview and Scottie Lewis of Cordele; and his great grandchildren, Byron Lewis of Leesburg, Oliver Smith of Pineview and Ada Smith of Pineview.
