He is survived by: his close friend Laura Priest; his children, Chris Pate (Carla), Matt Pate (DeAvin) of Florida and Amy Pate Green (Lee) of McRae; his mother Lillian Pate Jennings of Cordele; his stepmother Sandra Pate of Cordele; his stepson Mike Crozier (Nicole) of Fitzgerald; his sisters, Shannon Riva (David) of Orlando, Tiffany Graham (Robert) and Tammy Espe of Cordele; his aunt Deborah Buchanan of Cordele; his cousins, Tanya Reed (Bradford Rogers), Jennifer Clark (Bryan) and Angie Hayslip (Billy Joe); and his pet Keta. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
