She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilburn Sheffield and Margaret Henry Sheffield; her husband Dorris William "Billy" Persall, Jr.; and her siblings, Billy Sheffield, Jack Sheffield, Pat Pearson and Frances Adams.
She is survived by: her sons, Dorris William "DW" Persall III (Heidi) of Cordele and Jerome Paxton "JP" Persall (Sherrie) of Cordele; her brother Charles Sheffield of Cordele; her grandchildren, Jerome "Paxton" Persall, Jr., Ashley "Anna Marie" Persall and Karishma Patel; and her great grandchild Luanna Scarlet Persall-Cribb.
