She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hardy Stephens and Vera Elizabeth Wade Stephens; her husband K. D. Childers; her siblings, William Hardy Stephens and Vera McGlamry; her stepchildren, Charlie Griffin and Keith Childers; and her stepgrandchildren, Heather Daughtry and Sid Griffin.
She is survived by: her son Thomas O. Griffin (Michele) of Ocilla; her stepchildren, G. W. Griffin (Michelle), Faye Griffin Miller (Lamar), Debbie Griffin (David), Kristie Childers Hiner (Glenn), Kim Childers and Kirby Childers (Karen); her stepdaughter-in-law Angie Griffin; her siblings, Thelma Jean Collins of Macon, Marvin Wayne Stephens of Cordele and Zara Stephens (Sue) of Warwick; her grandchildren, Thomas O. Griffin, III of Ocilla and Michael P. Griffin of Savannah; and her stepgrandchildren, John, Ashlie, Kimberly, Natalie, Christi, Chad, Allison, Lyndsey, Landon, Kari, Adam, Benjamin, Taylor, Claire, Nathan and Kyle.
