He is survived by: his wife Tammy Welch; his sons, Richard Randall "Rick" Welch, Jr. (Miranda Layfield) of Cordele and Steven Patrick Welch (Rachel Welch) of Cordele; his siblings, Phillip Welch of Sharpsburg, David Bailey of Doles, Gail W. Dockery of Albany, Patty Bailey of Leesburg and Carol B. Hitt of Sumner; and his grandchildren, Andrea Welch, Ashlyn Welch, Buddy Welch, Sarah Welch, Caitlyn Welch, Alex Hirsch and Elijah Martin.
