She was predeceased by: her parents, Davis Martin and Myrtleen Williams Martin; her husband Billy James 'Bud Atkins; her daughter Helen (Keith Nichols); and her siblings, Raymond Martin, Hulett 'Buck Martin, Leonard 'Doc Martin, W. H. Martin and Nettie Rea McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, Davis, Sr. (Wynell Atkins), Clarence (Ellen Atkins), Bob (Sherry Atkins), Billy (Reba Atkins) and Betty Ann (Tommy Stewart); and her siblings, Reuben (Margaret Martin), Opal Curtis, Thelma Cromer (Jay) and Velma Elzey. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
