He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Wilmer Williams and Florrie George Adkins; his adoptive mother Minnie Keller Roberts; his friends, Bouhan and Levy; his wife Nita Donehoo Morgan; his siblings, John Young Williams, Edith Converse Williams Mathews and George Wilmer Williams, Jr. of Los Angeles; his brother-in-law Dr. William Jason Morgan of Natick, MA; his sons, Edgar Pomeroy Williams, Jr. of Atlanta and George Morgan Williams (Kristin) of Charleston, SC.; and his grandchildren, Katherine Donehoo Williams Thomas (Elliot) of Atlanta, Edgar Pomeroy Williams III of Atlanta, John Fitzgerald Williams (Kirstin) of Fayetteville, NC, Nita Kahrs Williams and Charles Morgan Williams of Charleston, SC..
