It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Hobbs Mathis (Cordele, Georgia), who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Felix Hobbs and Annie Mixon Hobbs; her husband Walter Clark Mathis; and her siblings, Mixon Hobbs, Tom Hobbs, Judson Hobbs and Annette Herrington.
She is survived by: her siblings, Royce Hobbs (Patricia) of Cordele, Duain Hobbs of Cordele, Barbara Doster (Richard) of Pinehurst and Linda Smith (Drake) of Mobile, Ala.; her sisters-in-law, Judy Hobbs of Macon and Nita Hobbs of Macon; and her close friend Brenda Tharpe of Cordele. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
