He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Jackson Raper and Ida Lee Dicks; his children, Lori Ann Raper and Christopher Lee Raper; and his siblings, Maybelle Raper, LuMildred Raper, Janie Raper, Paul Raper and Marvin Raper.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathleen Payne; his sons, Hank Raper (Jody), Rodney Dale Raper and Johnny Raper; his stepchildren, Helen Elizabeth Jones, Daniel Eugene Starnes (Nicole) and Jackie Louise Starnes; his grandchildren, Tasha Raper, Marsha Raper, Hank Raper, Jr., Michelle Russell, Mary Kathleen Raper, Jimmy Dale Dotson, Rusty Loyed, III, Daniel Eugene Starnes, Jr. and Natalie Nicole Starnes; and his great grandchildren, Leilani Reno, Rufus Fountain, Jr., Hardy Fountain, Jackson Creech, Noah Dawson, Gracie Russell, Salem Russel and Josiah Ray. He is also survived by his wife, grandkids, family, and his dog and cats.
