We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, at the age of 89, John W. Tomberlin of Cordele, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Tomberlin and Elva Tomberlin; his wife Emma Jane Tomberlin; and his siblings, Robert Tomberlin, Bill Tomberlin and Mayme Jane Duvaul.
He is survived by: his sons, James (Michelle Tomberlin), John Tomberlin of Jacksonville and Jonathan (Madison Tomberlin); his siblings, Betty Bex, Helon Love, Mary Emma, Gussie Hawkins and Bruce Tomberlin; his friends, Ellie Hart and Pattie Hayslip; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Tomberlin. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
