It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Samuel Allen of Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoover Allen and Catherine Rose 'Katie Allen; his brother Henry Robert Allen; and his sister-in-law Nannette Butler Allen. He is survived by: his children, John Samuel Allen II of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Mary Catherine of Cordele, Bubba Bennett of Cordele, Jessica of Cordele and Chris Forsythe of Cordele; his siblings, Mark Allen of Cordele and Jane (Bobby McGinnis) of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Kylie Allen, Lily Allen, Ainslee Forsythe, Hannah Forsythe, Samuel Bennett, Gunner Bennett and Tyler Bennett; his brother-in-law Hershel (Cathy); and also, Anna Roberts, Jason McGinnis, Susan Musselwhite, Haley, Kyle Miller, Hershel, Jr., Brittany, Mark Jr., Jessica Allen and Catherine Allen (Shannon Chappa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
