It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe C. Henderson of Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie C. Henderson and Eula Henderson; his wife Ella Mae Henderson; his children, Maurice Henderson and Miss Angie Hardeman; and his siblings, Sally Henderson, Willie Henderson, Jr., Eloise Henderson Thomas, Louise Henderson, Robert C. Henderson, Sr., Norman Henderson, Sr. and Bennie Henderson.
He is survived by: his children, Prentice Henderson of Tifton, Dwayne Hardeman (Shameka) and Chiquita Mapp of Cordele, Georgia; his siblings, Leila Rogers of Cordele, Georgia and Larry Henderson (Donna) of El Paso, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Ruby Jean Snipes (Henry), Laverne Anderson of Vienna, Mary Henderson, Eloise Henderson of Cordele, Georgia and Raymond Davis of Savannah, Georgia; and his goddaughters, Sara Daniel (Arthur) of Cordele and Pam Henderson of Tifton, Georgia. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
