He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert W. Hamilton, Sr. and LaVerne Lumpkin Hamilton of Arabi; his wife June Dorough Hamilton; his sons, Herb (Christy Hamilton), John Paul 'JP' (Kelly Hamilton) and Chad (Jennifer Hamilton); his grandchildren, Sammye, Maggie Jo, Hannah, Hayden, Gaven, Emma Claire, Toby and Karsyn; his siblings, Ann Hamilton of Arabi, Zula Hamilton Teeple of Tyler, TX and Earl Hamilton (Doris) of Cordele; and his sister-in-law Marsha Morton of Macon.
