He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Williams and Annie M. Westbrook Williams; and his brother Callaway Williams. He is survived by: his siblings, Hattie M. Williams Carter and Roosevelt Williams (Phyllis) of Cordele, Georgia; his aunts, Martha R. Westbrook of Arabi and Willie Mae Leary of Hatley, Georgia; his nieces and nephews, Eddie Williams, Sr. (Melinda), Michael Williams, Kenneth Williams, Phyllis Jackson (Frank), Benjamin Carter, Isiah Carter, Jr., Laura Swint (Antonio), Tamara Clark, Latrecia Williams and Kesha Lewis (Phillip); his godchildren, Meka Hayes, Terrell Tolbert, Amanda Nance and Tomeka Tolbert; and his close friend Marvin Simpson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home, Inc. (407 W 17th Ave E, Cordele, GA 31015). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home Chapel (407 W 17th Ave E, Cordele, GA 31015). Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
