She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smothers and Edna Louise Hughes; and her son Christopher Glenn. She is survived by: her children, Angela Wilcox of Cordele and Aaron Jones (Yolonda) of Tallahassee, Florida; her grandchildren, Jamico Jones, Jarico Jones (Courtney), Aaron Jones, Jr., Erin Jones, Arronice Jones, Ariel Jones and Shamundalon Glenn-Brown; her siblings, Mildred Troup (Cleo) of Hinesville, Judge Gail Sims, Debra Whatley (Mark) of Cordele, Georgia, John Hughes (Lynn) and James Leon Hughes (Evon) of Cordele, Georgia; her aunt Marie Harris of Rochester; her niece Jennifer Hughes of Cordele, Georgia; and her close friends, Lelia Rogers of Cordele, Rosalind Porter of Cordele and April Thompson of Cordele, Georgia.. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
