It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cricket S. Adkins of Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Monroe Scarborough and Willie Ann Martin Scarborough; her husband Moody Cromer Adkins; and her sister Evelyn Fenley. She is survived by: her son Clint Adkins (Kathleen) of Cordele; her grandchildren, Taylor C. Adkins of Key Largo and Dakota S. Adkins (Shelby); her brother Virgil Scarborough (Gail) of Ocala; and also Aubrey Adkins of Cordele. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hughes & Wright Funeral Home (1010 E 8th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
