He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Hill and Max Hill. He is survived by: his wife Marcy Moore Hill; his children, Wesley Clayton Hill (Hollie), Whitney Hill Brown (Joe) and Thomas Wade Hill (Kate); his grandchildren, Hampton, Hayes Hill, Hayden, Bryson, Pendley, Banks Brown, John Henry, Charlie Kate and Caroline Hill; and his siblings, Walter Kevin Hill, Victor Max Hill and Mary Angela Hill Lord.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Crisp Schools (1116 E 24th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A reception was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Crisp County Middle School (1116 E 24th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 5:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established the Coach Clay Hill Memorial Fund at the South Georgia Community Foundation.
