She was predeceased by: her parents, Edker Dunagan, Sr. and Vera Turk; her husband George Lanier, Jr.; her siblings, Henry Dunagan, Monroe Dunagan, Geraldine Meredith, Vera Mae Hilliard, Robert Dunagan, Elizabeth Phillips and Edker Richardson, Jr.; her granddaughter Lexi Bringman; and her sons-in-law, Leslie Bringman and Mike Wester.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Gwen Wester of Chapel Hill, TN, George Lanier III (Teresa) of Rochelle and Donna Bringman of Cordele; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Taylor (Corey) of Chapel Hill, Kenneth Wester of Tunnel Hill, Linley Hatten (Austin) of Wilsonville and Charity Bringman of Cordele; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hargus, Hailey Taylor, Ella Hatten and Shawn Hatten.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hughes & Wright Funeral Home (1010 E 8th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
