We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2024, Carolyn C. Brake of Cordele, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Brake, Sr.; her parents, Charles Eugene Clements and Bessie Bostick Clements; and her siblings, Lillian Criswell, Genie Rogers, Raymond Clements, Joe Clements of Richard Clements, C. T and Dorothy Clements.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Steven Crenshaw), Buddy (Terry Ann Brake), Wally (Katrina Brake), Christy Banks (Patty) of San Antonio, TX and Grady Walker of Norcross; her sisters-in-law, Anne Clements and Kathryn Woodard; and her close friend Carl Wrye of Macon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

She volunteered in her community as a poll worker during elections, and with the American Cancer Society.
