Billy Gene Hall Obituary
CORDELE – Billy Gene Hall, 70, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at Crisp Regional Nursing Rehab. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Hughes and Wright Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at Shelton Grove Cemetery in Sweetwater, Tn.
Billy was born in Sweetwater, Tn to the late Charlie C. Claborn Hall, Jr. and the late Edythe Corrine Fox Hall. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Melinda Grooms Hall. He was a self-employed truck driver.
Billy is survived by his sons: Timothy Groomes of Adel, Ga., Scottie Wisham, and Stephen Wisham both of LaFayette, Ga.; his daughters: Jeana Renee Stewart of Double Springs, Al and Charlie Wisham Hutto of Vienna, Ga.; his brothers: Charles Hall of Cordele, Ga., Bud Patterson of Wichita Falls, Tx., Dewey Fox of Sweetwater Tn., Troy Hall of Athens, Tn., Daniel Hall of Cordele, Ga., and Adam Hall of Nashville, Tn.; his sisters: Charlotte Hall of Sweetwater, Tn., Wanda Garrison of Double Springs, Al., Cindy Montes of Wichita Falls, Tx., Janice Ann Sanders of Hawkinsville, Ga., Rachel Lynn Jones of Rebecca, Ga., and Kathy Peterson of Athens, Tn.; his 9 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
