It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Huckaby (Cordele, Georgia), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wraley "Ray" Reed Penny and Carrie Verna Shell; her husband Ronald Hugh "Buck" Huckaby; her siblings, Mary Lee Tanner, Pauline Allen of Robert Penny, Curtis Penny, Myrtle Sydnes, Alvin Penny, Ferrell Penny, Vernon Penny and Iris Penny; and her grandson-in-law Jordan Wells.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Huckaby of Cordele and Craig Huckaby (Jennifer) of Arabi; her grandchildren, Amanda Huckaby Wells, Ashley Huckaby Carlton (Ethan), Leigh Huckaby Cole (Justin) and Brooke Huckaby Wilson (Cole); and her great grandchildren, Lakyn Wells, Brecken Wells, Ryder Wells, Zane Wells, Jensen Carlton, Oaklyn Carlton, Crew Carlton, Hagan Cole, Linen Cole, Monroe Cole, Ellis Cole and Penny Cole. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
