With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beth Curles (Cordele, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy O. Thompson and Betty P. Ballard; and her sister Melanie Johnson of Mount Juliet, TN.. She is survived by: her husband Tom Curles; her daughter Betsy Johnson (Matt Johnson) of Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Thomas, Luke and Sheppard Johnson; and her sisters, Becky Lee (Tommy) of Dallas, GA, Ruth Suddreth (Bob) of Concord, NC and Edie Smith of Byron, GA..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cordele First Church (302 E 12th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery (Westview St, Monticello, GA 31064).
Beth's family would like you to know that she loved flowers and she had two favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Methodist Children's Home, if you would like to make a donation to any of the above, Beth's family would be appreciative.
