It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aleta Arant Mixon of Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Sanderson and Shirley Ballard Sanderson; her husband Wyman Lee Mixon, Sr.; and her sister Carolyn King. She is survived by: her pet Toto; her sons, David S. Mixon (Teresa) of Americus and Wyman Lee Mixon, Jr. (Rhonda) of Cordele; her brother Robert Sanderson; her brother-in-law Terry Mixon; her sisters, Edna Beddard, Dolly Beddard and Edith Scarbrough; her grandchildren, Aubrey Bellamy, Brandi DeShong (Kevin), William S. Mixon, Matthew L. Mixon, Cameron Cruickshank and Joshua J. Mixon; and her great grandchildren, Carlee E. Bellamy, Nora DeShong, Lorelai Cruickshank, Tristan J. Bellamy, Gavin Bellamy, Brantley Spaventa, Jackson Johnson and Lasonlee Mixon.
