He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Leonard Penny and Noel Moore Penny Day; his brother Ray Penney; and his great grandchild Raelynn Craft. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Griffin Penny of Cordele; his children, Brett Penny of Cordele and Shannon Penny Nipper (Timothy) of Cordele; his brothers, Tony Penney (Jackie) of Dublin and John Penney (Carlene) of Vienna; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Penney of Atlanta, Jody Griffin (Belinda) of Cordele and David Griffin (Gina) of Albany; his grandchildren, Shana Black, Elise Nipper and Kane Nipper; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Nipper, Bo Black, Dawson Black, Chasen Craft and Kash Nipper.
