He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tom Brooks and Mary Comerford Brooks; his wife Tina Brooks; his children, Kim Brooks of Bainbridge, Tammy Brooks of Bainbridge, Kerry Jones (Stevie) of Bainbridge and Reba Huffman (Todd) of Thomasville; his sister Lois Barwick of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Amber (Kevin), Cass, Chelsie, Clara, Crystal (Mark) and Kris (Carrie); his great grandchildren, Chase, Daniel, Hunter, Liam, Madison, Marshall and Richelle; and his siblings, Louise Taylor, Mary Alice Rackowski and Tommy Brooks. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside funeral service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Lee Coulliette officiating.
