He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Ella Wilda and Gillum Allen; his uncle Ellis; his aunt Ernestine Allen; his cousin Jonnie Allen; his wife Patricia Anne Clements; his children, Angela Shelley, Marcia Shelley Millere and Allen Patrick Shelley; his grandchildren, Keith Shelley, Saralyn Shelley, Abigail Moody, Rosalie Millere and Ella Millere; his children-in-law, Edmond Millere and Tonja Mobarry; his siblings-in-law, James H. Clements and Joyce Hayes Clements; his half-siblings, Wynton Shelley, Kaye Caldwell, Linda Hopper and Elaine Whitmore; and his daughters, Melanie Lynne Shelley and Maria Annelle Shelley. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and other relatives.

For the safety and health of all, the family requests that all wear masks at the church service.
