She is survived by: her husband Hugh Powell; her children, Eldridge, Kofi Powell, Dioyneith Powell, Karina Powell-Hood and Mariysa Porter; her children-in-law, Raldane Hood, Lisa and Sharron Powell; and her siblings, Basil, Michael, Carmen and Viola. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
