He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey Cox and Willie Harris. He is survived by: his daughter Shantel Cox of Brooklyn; his siblings, Todd Cox of Temple, Georgia, Lisa Cox of DeSoto and Christine Cox Belton of Killeen, Texas; his aunt Karen Jones Best (Glenn) of Clearwater, Florida; his niece Whitney Cox of Villa Rica, GA; his nephew Vaughn Cox of Austell, GA; his great-nieces, Janiyah Walker, Riley Bridges and Zayn Cox; and his great-nephew Josiah Walker. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Prospect Heights High School (138, I. S. 391).
