He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hammonds and Marie Hammonds; and his siblings, Billy Hammonds, Carolyn South and Patricia Piper-Mashburn.
He is survived by: his significant other Norma Young; his children, Dion Hammonds Corn of Lawrenceville, Greg (Heather Hammonds) and David (Dana Hammonds); his granddaughter Mia Hammonds Wilson of Conyers; and his siblings, Joyce Swann of Stockbridge, Sandra Wilson of Conyers and Jim Hammonds of Braselton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
