We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2024, at the age of 102, Wanda Owens Teasley (Conyers, Georgia), born in Corbin, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wanda Owens may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Owens and Claud Owens; her stepfather Joaquin Maranje; her sister Betty Phipps; and her brother-in-law James Paul Phipps.
She is survived by: her niece Paula Phipps. She is also survived by many friends and caregivers.
