It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valisia Dechele Flanigan (Conyers, Georgia), who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Dr. Veronica Flanigan; her grandparents, Rev. Aaron, Fanny Lester, Clearance and Etta Sue Flanigan; her uncles, Harold Flanigan, Clerance Flanigan Jr. and Larry J. Lester; her aunt Shasta Flanigan Franklin; her nephew Donnell R. Smith; and also Angela D. Lester.
She is survived by: her father Captain Calvin Flanigan; her sisters, Erin Flanigan Young and Monica Flanigan; her nieces and nephews, Aliya Smith, Joseph Love Jr., Joshiah Love, Maxx Young Jr., Jaydon, Nylah Young, Isaiah Young and Elijah Young; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amiah Smith, Taliya Smith, Tamari Smith and Tavaris Smith Jr.. She is also survived by cousin's friends.
