He is survived by: his daughter Alisha Carmichael (Lance) of Forsyth; his parents, Brenda Merritt and Jeff Merritt of Lithonia; his grandson Colson Carmichael of Forsyth; his sisters, Kelly Martin of Conyers and Ginger Merritt of Oxford; and his grandmothers, Hortence Anderson of Conyers and Janet Merritt of Lithonia. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
