She was predeceased by: her parents, Artis Jones and Florence Jones; and her sisters, Yvonne Underwood, Betty Sanders and Annette Aiken.
She is survived by: her husband Morris Edwards; her children, LaTongia Scott (Steve) of Covington, DeMarcus Williams (Melanie) of Stone Mountain, Christopher King (Erica) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Beatrice Spates of Conyers, Regine Delus-Brooks of Miami, FL, Laure Jackson of New York and Maurice Jackson of New York; her siblings, Shelia Wilson of Augusta, Phyllis Williams of Moody, Horace Wilkins of Montgomery and Clarence Jenkins of McDonough; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Anadaeeyia, DeAndre, DeMarcus Jr., DeMetrius, Braelyn, Amari of Gabrielle, CJ, Kimiya and Jaquarious; her sisters, JoAnne Richardson, Pamela Richardson, Riche'Richardson and Dailetta Laveder; and her nephew Marvin Turner of Douglasville. She is also survived by other nephews, nieces, cousins, and many many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM at the Wheeler Funeral & Cremation Services (11405 Brown Bridge Rd, Covington, GA 30016). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
