She was predeceased by: her parents, James Johnson and Julia Barber Johnson; her husband Edmund Johnson; and her children, Annie Julia Bryant (Starling), Edmund Johnson, Jr., Idella Johnson, Freddie Lamar Johnson, Ella Johnson, Ethel Mae Johnson, Jessie James Johnson and Johnny Wayne Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susie Kate Johnson and Karen Lee Benford (Hulon); her sisters, Eula Johnson and Christine Johnson Bolden; and her granddaughter Jennifer Chester. She is also survived by 24 grandkids, 78 great grandkids, 90 great-great grandkids and 1 great -great-great grandkid.
