He is survived by: his wife Alice Joyce Burris; and his siblings, Emmett Burris, Odis Burris, Walter Lee Burris, Donald Ray Burris, Ethel McGowan and Mary Ellen Whiten. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
