He is survived by: his children, Elon Blackmon (Donna) and Ithream Blackmon of Indianapolis, IN; his granddaughters, Lauryn and Laila Blackmon; his brothers, Richard Blackmon, Jr. (Vashti) and Peter Joshua; and his aunts, Katie Frances Walker and Ruth McIntosh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
