He is survived by: his wife Mabel Mahaffey; his children-in-law, Terry Mahaffey, Cindy Mahaffey, Paul Mahaffey, Kathi Mahaffey and Regina McLemore of Lisa Thurston; his grandchildren, Katie Mahaffey, Michelle Bernard, Brent Bernard, Melanie Turner, Curtis Turner, Paul III, Jennifer McLemore, III, Brad Mahaffey, Brittany Mahaffey, Jimmy Thurston, Annie Thurston and Chelsea Mahaffey; his friend Rufus Nichols; and also Paul McLemore of Lisa Thurston.
