He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ziegler and Mabel Ziegler; and his siblings, William Ziegler and Dolores Boyle. He is survived by: his wife Alma Ziegler; his children, Richard Ziegler (Joell Ratterman) of Conyers, GA, John Joseph Ziegler (Merina) of Conyers, GA and Deborah Ann DeVito of West Islip, NY; his grandchildren, Daniel P. DeVito, Jr. (Gina), Thomas M. DeVito (Bridget), Craig A. DeVito (Kristin), Samantha Ziegler, Antonio Ziegler, Kimberly Ziegler and Cory Ziegler; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Liam, Joshua, Tyler, Gianna, Luke and Leo.
