She was predeceased by: her parents, James Morris and Ossie Goddard Housworth; and her siblings, Lonnie Housworth, Betty Jean White and Thomas Housworth.
She is survived by: her husband Robert V. Carter of Conyers; her son David; her daughter-in-law Lesley Carter; her grandsons, Matthew Carter and Christian Sewell of McDonough, GA; and her brother Richard Housworth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
