She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Posey and Pearl Posey (John Pelowski, Jr.); her son Troy L. Pierce, Sr.; her sister-in-law Carol Posey; and her former husband Bobby Joe Pierce, Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, Billy Pierce (Shirley) and Bobby Pierce, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Taye Pierce; her siblings, Ralph Posey (Sally), Tom Posey and Nellie Stanley; and her grandchildren, Clay Pierce (Amanda), Kristi Oliveri (Nick), Hunter Pierce, Layne Pierce (Jenni), Tori Milenthal (Josh) and Travis Pierce (Meriah).
