He is survived by: his wife Martha Townes Boyd Ross; his sons, Robert Boyd Ross (Denise) and Chapman Millard Ross (Meghna); his grandchildren, Ishaan Taylor Ross, Mira Isabella Ross and Margaret Taylor Ross; and his sister Meriwether Baird (Hunter).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Tabernacle Camp Meeting Fund.
