It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Shoemaker (Conyers, Georgia), who passed away on September 19, 2018, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Chandler and Peggy Chandler; and her brother Greg Chandler. She is survived by: her husband Dan Shoemaker; her children, Amy Carpenter (Brent), Traci Moore, Scott Shoemaker (Lisa), Amanda Stanley (John) and Kaylee Hagood; her grandchildren, Jay, Jenn, Blake, Miranda, Brianna, Bailey, Alex, Ashton S., Vincent, Jessie, Samantha, Cody and Johnny; her siblings, Brett Chandler, LuAnn Chandler, Rosalind Eaves and Nancy Newell; and her father-in-law Dan Shoemaker, Sr.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
