She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleazer Lanier and Eva Lee Lanier of Collins; her husband Edwin C Shirey; and her siblings, Elene Lloyd (Sonny) and Don Lanier (Marilyn).
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Shirey (Janet) and Eddie Shirey (Patricia); and her grandchildren, AJ Shirey, Baxter Shirey (Jasmine), Lauren Lewis (Christopher) and El Shirey (Julia).
