She is survived by: her son Dennis Smith; her sisters, Eddie Maud Franklin, Bessie Mae Brewer and Virginia Smith-Jackson; her aunts, Betty Sue Giles and Ruby Nell Brown; her children, Evelyn Mae Smith, Nicole Hardeman and Michael Smith; her grandchildren, Marquavius, Calvin, Darnell, Shanecka, Roxie, Roscoe, Jr., Vergie, Faith and Nehemiah; her siblings, Clara Preston (Roy) and John L. Smith; her close friend Patricia A. Preston; and her nieces and nephews, Calandra George, Debra Johnson (Neat), Jennifer D. Preston, Lokeithia Preston, Jarvis M. Preston, Johnny Penn, Jr., Brian L. Preston and Shon Pittman.
