Though Joyce may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Loyd Lee Garner; her parents, Stanley Roberts and Mary Roberts; and her son Michael Loyd Garner. She is survived by: her son Jeff Garner (Brenda). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012).
