Joseph Daniel Farmer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Daniel Farmer (Conyers, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father David Farmer; his stepfather James Whitten; his mother Hazel Davis Farmer Whitten; and his brother Kenny Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Wolf Farmer of Conyers; his daughter Heather; his son-in-law Geoff May of McDonough; his children, Sheila Farmer of Spokane, Washington and Daniel Shane Farmer of Modesto, California; his son-in-law Mike Hansen of Suwanee; his stepson Matt Sammons of Marietta; his grandchildren, Christopher, Tammy Harvill, Reneah Mullins, Logan, Dejeanne May, Andrew and Samuel Hansen; his great grandchildren, Ellie Lazor, Makenna Mullins, Maria, Jeremiah, Elijah Harvill and Jacob May; his siblings, Darlene Thaxton and Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Lou Ann Whitten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
