He is survived by: his father Joseph Arthur Abbott; his wife Sharon Abbott; his children, DeDe Abbott Kirkwood (Richard) of Conyers, Matthew Abbott of Conyers and Shannon Bement Majsztrik (John) of Anderson; his siblings, Michael Abbott (Linda) and Vicky Abbott Crowe (Mike) of Conyers; his grandchildren, Vince, Justin Kirkwood of Conyers, Samuel, Grissom and Elaina Majsztrik of Anderson; and his great grandchild Tiffany Lustenberger.
