He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Ivan and Flory Maria Ruiz. He is survived by: his children, Heather Ruiz, Jena Davis, Daniel Ruiz and Justin McGee; his significant other Cheryl Treadaway; his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Maddox; and his brothers, Ivan (Susan Ruiz) and David (Laura Ruiz).
