We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2023, at the age of 87, Joan Bertha Rice of Conyers, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Rice; her parents, Arthur Markgraf and Lucille Markgraf; and her sisters, Audrey Newell and Joann Crawford.

She is survived by: her daughters, Denise (Bob Clay) and Yvette (Steve Newsome); her brother Kenneth; and her sister-in-law Pricilla Markgraf. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
